Middle school students had an amazing time skiing, playing broom ball, snowshoeing, tube sliding, ice fishing, and crafting at Camp Cedarwood last week. We enjoyed great food and an awesome speaker. The weather was fabulous, and friendships grew.

The WMS-KF Parent Association is kicking off an exciting fundraiser with Purdy’s Chocolates to bring a Gaga Ball Pit to our school! This fun, fast-paced game will be a huge hit at recess—but we need YOUR help to make it happen!
Here’s how you can support:
January 31: Each student will bring home 10 chocolate bars to sell at just $4 each.
February 10: Return any unsold bars and collected cash.
Goal: For each classroom to sell 200 bars to help us reach our target!
✨ Sweet Rewards! ✨
Classrooms that sell their goal will earn a special treat AND an extended recess—because teamwork deserves to be celebrated!
Let’s rally together and make this dream a reality for our kids. A sweet treat for them, and a fun addition to our school for years to come!

This week, we are celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Anabaptist movement. Five centuries ago, a group of believers took the first step of being baptized as adults with the firm conviction to put the principles of the Gospel into practice and follow Jesus. In the fall, middle school students had the opportunity to visit The Mennonite Peace Trail. While there, we talked about this important 500th anniversary and about Mennonites first immigrating to Manitoba 150 years ago.
